The main characters of the story are the schoolboy Morty and his grandfather Rick. The first one is a typical teenager who doesn't stand out from the rest of the guys. At the same time, his relative is an eccentric scientist whose behavior often goes beyond the norm. He is able to capture his grandson at any moment and go on crazy trips with him on a homemade craft made of improvised materials capable of overcoming interdimensional tunnels. Each of their joint journeys takes the characters to unpredictable locations and confronts them with absurd situations.
